Legal Specialist (Automotive Industry)

Basic Function:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Specialist to support our legal department in ensuring compliance with regulations, managing contracts, and mitigating legal risks across the group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance on corporate matters, contractual negotiations, and regulatory frameworks. This position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work cross-functionally with different business units and jurisdictions. The future candidate will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer.
key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and business partners.
- Ensure all agreements comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain contract databases and track key obligations and deadlines.
- Monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
- Develop and implement internal policies to mitigate legal risks.
- Support the management of legal disputes, claims, and litigation.
- Assist in drafting legal responses and settlement agreements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Law (admitted to practice as lawyer is a plus)
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role or in a law firm
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Fluent English and Italian is a must; other languages are beneficial
Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and contract law
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, litigation, or M&A processes is advantageous.
- Experience working in a multinational environment or handling cross-border legal matters is a plus.
