Basic Function:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on various types of data, such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, and customer feedback. The resource will support to enhancement of the IT team in Ivrea.

key responsibilities:

  • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, such as databases from various systems, files, and APIs.
  • Analyze data using descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.
  • Overseeing end-to-end process evaluation and operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Use Qlik to develop and deploy interactive and user-friendly data applications.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to the overarching Business Intelligence strategy.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources and platforms.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data analysis and data science.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or comparable qualification) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in data analysis, data visualization, and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Qlik (e.g., Qlik Sense or QlikView), including data modeling, scripting, expression writing, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages and tools.
  • Experience in working with various types of data, such as structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts and findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent English and Italian is a must.

Beneficial experience and requirement:

  • Certification or training in Qlik Sense, QlikView, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with other data analysis and data science tools, such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or SAS.
  • Experience in applying machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics techniques to data problems.
  • Experience in working with automotive or (discrete) manufacturing data.
  • Experience in creating and delivering reports and dashboards using Nprinting.
