Basic Function:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Infrastructure Specialist to oversee and manage the IT infrastructure operations of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of the IT infrastructure, as well as overseeing the external partner that provides IT services and support.

key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, service delivery standards, and procedures for the enterprise, in alignment with the IT strategy and business goals.
  • Join a large-scale infrastructure transformation as project manager and steer it to successful completion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and service level agreements of the IT service partner, ensuring that they meet the quality and cost expectations of the company.
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the IT service partner, as well as other external vendors and suppliers of IT products and services.
  • Ensure the compliance of the IT infrastructure with the relevant policies, standards, and regulations, as well as the best practices of the automotive industry.
  • Coordinate and oversee the IT infrastructure projects and initiatives, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the internal and external IT teams, as well as the end-users and stakeholders of the IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor end-user satisfaction and proactively propose improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the IT infrastructure domain, and evaluate and implement them as needed.
  • Document and maintain the IT infrastructure architecture, design, and configuration, as well as the related processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or comparable qualification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-10, or 10+ years) in managing and overseeing IT infrastructure operations, preferably in the automotive or (discrete) manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in IT infrastructure technologies, such as network, server, storage, cloud, security, and backup.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with external IT service partners and other external IT service providers.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Fluent English is a must.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Certification or training in IT infrastructure or related technologies, such as ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools.

Basic Function:

The resource will be responsible for managing the overall procurement activities for the designated commodity including development of sourcing strategy, negotiation of contracts and execution of COP and PPV budget. Work requires knowledge of the global supply base, commodities and requires interface with outside and/or inhouse suppliers as well as multiple internal departments. Work is of a difficult nature involving considerable amount of initiative and a high level of independent judgment while enhancing our purchasing team.

key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global commodity strategy that creates the best value for the company in cooperation with all internal departments along with outside and/or inhouse suppliers.
  • Lead sourcing recommendations for assigned commodities in conjunction with the corporate and regional supply chain leaders.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver annual COP (Cost-Out-Project) savings and PPV targets.
