Basic Function:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Application Manager to oversee various Application Managers and contribute significantly to the overall enterprise architecture and IT strategy of our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of application strategies with business goals, driving the performance, security, and integration of all applications within the organization. The future candidate will report directly to the Global IT Director. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture strategy and support the global roll-out of applications to new countries and plants.
  • Ensure that business requirements and processes are effectively integrated into the ERP systems and other critical applications.
  • Ensure external IT requirements, as well as best practices, standards and policies integrate with MUVIQ’s global application landscape
  • Ensure applications adhere to company policies in terms of security
  • Actively contribute to transformation and harmonization projects on a global scale and actively engage with local teams to define common standards (e.g., tools and processes) across plants
  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of multiple application platforms, ensuring their reliability, availability, scalability, and integration internally, as well as with external partners.
  • Coordinate with third-party system integrators for larger enhancements and projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline alignment.
  • Provide strategic direction and potentially oversee training to end-users and stakeholders of application platforms.
  • Document and maintain the architecture, design, and configuration of application platforms.
  • Implement and ensure strong data governance across all countries and plants.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or comparable qualification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) including leading and managing teams responsible for multiple application platforms within the automotive or (discrete) manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in developing strategic plans for customizations, integrations, and extensions for various application platforms.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining interfaces between application platforms and third parties, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Fluent English and Italian is a must; other languages are beneficial

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Certification or training in relevant application platforms or technologies.
    Basic understanding of IBM iSeries and its impact on the application layer.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with other ERP systems or tools, their implementation and/or roll-out
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge and skills in overseeing programming, SQL, and APIs relevant to various application platforms

Basic Function:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cyber Security and Data Protection Manager to join our dynamic team. The Cyber Security and Data Protection Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's information security program globally. This role requires an individual with a comprehensive understanding of cyber security technologies, trends, and best practices, as well as a proactive and hand-on approach to protecting our organization's digital assets.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy to protect MUVIQ’s digital assets, including data, systems, and networks.
  • Act within a cross-functional team consisting of members of MUVIQ’s internal IT organization and external partners, providing advice, direction and mentorship.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Monitor network traffic and system activity to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and NIS2
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the integration of security best practices into all aspects of the organization's operations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cyber security awareness and best practices.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of the organization's cyber security posture.
  • Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external partners, including law enforcement and cyber security firms, as needed.
  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments and audits to identify and address potential privacy risks.
  • Establish and enforce data privacy standards to protect personal information from unauthorized access and breaches.
  • Regularly review and update data protection measures to align with evolving regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber security
  • Fluent English and Italian are must; other languages are beneficial
  • Extensive knowledge of cyber security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Hand-on mentality and willingness to actively contribute to the implementation of a cyber security strategy.
  • Strong understanding of network architectures, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Experience with common cyber security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of cyber security professionals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience with private cloud security.
  • Familiarity with security automation and orchestration tools.
  • Understanding of advanced threat detection and response techniques, including the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
  • Participation in cyber security communities and ongoing professional development through conferences, workshops, and certifications.
